Monica Main

Since graduating from The Victorian College of the Arts in 1986 Monica has worked extensively as a Corporate performer, Improviser (State Theatre Sports champion 1992) Writer, MC, Director and Actor. She’s appeared in numerous stage productions, television shows and commercials. As a corporate performer she has created and performed original characters for numerous events.

Since 2002 she has performed for thousands of school children working for Millennium Kids, a Fremantle based International Youth Environment group. In January 2006 as a Millennium Kids mentor she travelled to South Africa and ran a series of drama based workshops in remote communities. In 2006 the City of South Perth through Millennium Kids commissioned her to write a one woman play, The Swashline; an historical comedy for upper primary performances.

Monica often performs as Madam Lash for events held at the Fremantle Prison. She has a wandering improv duo called Kazza and Shazza and another called Clumsy Airlines.

She can mc as herself or in character. Monica is a versatile performer who loves to create characters to suit events.
