Bizircus
For more than eleven years Bizircus has thrilled audiences with their hilarious character comedy and explosive acrobatic stunts.
Drawing influence from Chinese circus, European circus and street theatre, modern dance, and slapstick traditions worldwide, the troupe has been trained by acrobats and clowns from France, Russia, China, Brazil, Kenya, and England. Synthesising these diverse traditions into their own unique Australian style, Bizircus blend physical skill, comedy, music, and universal themes into a performances which hurdle language and cultural barriers.

Bizircus has produced circus/theatre and street theatre works for the Perth International Arts Festival, Singapore River Street Theatre Festival and countless other national and regional festivals, theatres and events.

The Bizircus repertoire of skills includes trapeze, juggling, fire juggling, acrobatics, body balances, spanish web rope, character clowning, doubles trapeze, hat juggling, comedy, Chinese acrobatic pole, tower of chairs, stiltwalking, unicycling, whip cracking, and much, much more. This versatile group regularly adapt their style to suit such diverse audiences and events as arts festivals, nightclubs, functions, and family events. The team can even devise theme based shows to suit a particular event.
