Duo Lenz

Duo Lenz is an exceptional classical guitar duo with a depth of international experience. Formed in 1997, Duo Lenz comprises Ruth and Richard Lenz who were both established musicians before coming together as an ensemble.

Their repertoire is very broad and they present a varied and exciting programme which features music from all eras. It is their aim to play and record new works written by composers for and commissioned by the Duo which has resulted in them playing several premiere performances. They are also constantly working on new arrangements to expand the repertoire for two guitars.

Next to their work as performing musicians Ruth and Richard are well qualified and experienced educators using a Progressive Guitar Method written by the Duo. They are always expanding the student repertoire by composing new pieces for all levels.
