Johnny Young

Johnny Young
Johnny Young will always be best remembered as the gentle, ever-smiling host of Young Talent Time, but many people forget he was also a bona fide pop idol and TV star!

In fact, during his 40-year career, Johnny has found success as a singer, radio DJ, TV presenter, songwriter, record producer, TV host and now… Master of Ceremonies.

Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2010, Johnny has enjoyed an enviable career in the entertainment industry. His children's variety show Young Talent Time, which premiered on the 0-10 Network in early 1971 was a massive success – appealing to everyone from eight to eighty. It launched the careers of many Australian entertainers, including Tina Arena, Debra Byrne and Danni Minogue.

He has worked with Australian pop icons - Buddy England, Normie Rowe and Marcie Jones ('Legends of Sixties Rock'); and enjoyed phenomenal success with the EPs Let It Be Me, Kiss Me Now and All My Loving.

Back in Perth and working for local station 6iX (breakfast radio), Johnny is available for corporate and community events as a Master of Ceremonies or guest speaker.

He can perform his hit song, All My Lovin' acoustically, or with a backing track or pianist if required.
