He worked as a fish farmer on a kibbutz in Israel, a stand up comedian in a Los Angeles club, a travel writer in Kenya, a barman in London, a youth worker in North Carolina and a high school teacher in Belfast before returning to Australia in 1987 to establish The True Learning Centre - a centre for quality and esteem based education and training.
Glenn is the writer and presenter of the award winning cable television series, Born to Learn, which at its peak aired weekly to 26 million households across the USA. He is the co-author of the book Maximizing Your Learning Potential and the Thinking Learning Classroom. He is regularly featured on ABC radio and is and the writer of over 40 recorded songs.
In 1987 he was awarded the prestigious Winston Churchill Fellowship, which he used to further his research into better ways of thinking and learning. With a career as a professional speaker for more than twenty years, Glenn Capelli has emerged as
an expert educator in Thinking and Learning Skills and has become one of Australia’s most awarded and sought after professional speakers. His award winning cable television series Born to Learn aired weekly to an audience of over 26 million households across the USA, his current program Thinking Caps broadcasts regularly on Radio 3AW Melbourne. Glenn’s clients range from the most remote outback schools of Australia to the biggest corporate organizations in the world.
