Cosimo De-Vito

In August 2004, Cosima de Vito as an independent artist released the single 'When the war is over', old cold chisel track. It debuted at number 1 and was there for two weeks. It has gone Platinum with sales over 90,000. Cosima became the first Australian independent artist to have her single debut at number 1. This achievement meant that she was the 47th Australian artist to debut at number 1. 6 months later the single is still in the top 100. Recently Cosima sang for the Prime Minister’s 30th anniversary in parliament. Pop Republic magazine, voted Cosima best new artist of 2004.
