Shannon Noll

Shannon Noll
Shannon Noll’s everyman appeal lies in his honesty. Shannon strikes a chord with legions of music fans, tapping into a pure emotion that’s both his own and instantly relatable.

Shannon rose to prominence in the entertainment industry as the first runner-up of the initial Australian Idol series in 2003. Shortly after, Shannon signed a five-album deal with Sony BMG, releasing his first album, That’s What I’m Talking About, which debuted as number one and was certified triple-platinum upon its release. Within the first six months of release, the album became certified as a 3 x platinum seller and remained in the Top 100 Album Chart for almost one year. In the decade long career that has followed, Shannon has subsequently released five top 10 albums, has 17 platinum and three gold accreditations, and boasts a reputation as the only Australian male artistinnational chart history to have ever achieved ten consecutive top ten singles.

Undeniably, Shannon Noll has captured the hearts and minds of music fans around Australia and overseas with his raw, gifted rockvoice. Shannon has also enjoyed chart success overseas with his debut single, ‘What About Me’ reaching No. 2 in the Irish charts and No. 10 in the New Zealand charts. In June of 2009, Shannon’s album What Matters Most was released to coincide with the stage production of Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of War of the Worlds, in which Shannon appeared as Parson Nathaniel in the 21 date 30th anniversary tour.

In 2010, following the conclusion of Shannon’s deal with Sony BMG, Shannon signed with Universal Music Australia, his first release on the label, A Million Suns, his 5th studio album, which toured nationally and was met with great success. In 2013, Shannon was announced as the new face of Radio Rentals and remains signed to Universal Music Australia.

Early 2014 saw Shannon embark on the Invincible tour of the east coast of Australia, with his highly anticipated album released later that year.
