Damien Cain is an upbeat singer-songwriter and guitarist with a passion for playing crowd favourites in new and original ways as well as his own originals. Born and based in Perth, he has been playing music from a young age, all while being raised on artists like Bill Withers, Amy Winehouse, and Frank Sinatra.
Damien Cain first began performing at the age of 16, busking on the streets of Fremantle and Perth. He has gone on to perform at local markets, pubs and bars, playing a wide variety of sets ranging between high energy gigs with his live backing band to relaxed acoustic sets for chilled afternoons and evenings.
As a WAAPA graduate, Damien Cain has the industry relevant training and experience to be comfortable and confident performing in different settings and working with other musicians and sound systems. His original live band was recently awarded with a single studio recording with Perth's own Kav Temperley of Eskimo Joe in a band competition.
Damien Cain plays popular music loved by all audiences, such as classics like Ben E. King to Coldplay, and provides the perfect atmosphere for any event or occasion.
