Samantha Jolly

Samantha Jolly is 7NEWS Perth’s weather and 4pm news presenter and has worked in media for 26 years.
  
She presents weather five nights a week alongside Rick Ardon and Susannah Carr and has hosted the 4pm news hour each weekday since 2016.
 
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, Sam started her career in radio news at the age of 19.  She then made the move to television and joined 7NEWS  in 2010.
 
During her time reporting, Sam specialised in the court, police and health portfolios and often presented reports for a national audience.  Over the past 26 years, Sam has covered stories from devastating cyclones to politics and pop stars. 
 
When she’s not presenting the news or bringing you the latest weather, Sam’s number one love is spending time with her family. She is married and mother to two gorgeous boys.
 
Sam also likes to push herself to the limits to be challenged. She is a keen runner and counts completing her first marathon as one of her biggest personal achievements.
