Narelda Jacobs has been a journalist with Network 10 since 2000 and is currently residing in Sydney as a presenter of Studio 10.
Her on air profile has given Narelda the opportunity to get involved in countless community events. Narelda’s a patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Assoc WA. She’s an Ambassador for the David Wirrpanda Foundation, Breast Cancer Care WA & the Disability Services Commission. In 2011 she was 1 of 13 WA women who trekked Kokoda to raise money for Breast Cancer Care WA. Jacobs is the first Aboriginal, and first openly lesbian newsreader in Western Australia.
