Carmen Braidwood grew up dreaming of becoming a pop singer, an actress or the wife of Prince William. Failing at all three, she dusted herself off and built a life from storytelling.

Sources say she has been doing ‘a pretty decent job’ of this for more than 23 years, working with among others, 96fm, 882 6PR and Channel 9.

Today, she is a conference speaker who motivates and engages audiences with laugh-out-loud storytelling designed to improve leadership of themselves and others.

Outside of work, Carmen enjoys exploring her home state of Western Australia by boat or caravan. She lives with her small-business-owner husband, adult stepson and everyone's favourite member of the family, a much-pampered red poodle by the name of Piper. Yes, she’s a bitch, but perfectly lovely.
