Retriever Sound is run by Dyson & Paula Peppin, they have established themselves as awards winning experts in music content creation & for their elite customer service. Their impressive portfolio includes major clients such as Manchester United, Chelsea, AFL, NBL, and the Rugby League World Cup, in addition to being involved in notable events like the opening of Perth's Optus Stadium. At the core of their success lies their genuine passion for music, which drives them to create captivating and enjoyable experiences for attendees. DJ Dyson is a genuine music allrounder. Starting with a degree as a sound engineer, he has worked as a kid as a spice tape editor, mobile sound recordist, front of house operator & studio engineer. Currently owner & operator of Retriever Sound Studio. As a drummer he has played major events such as Big Day Out Festivals & residencies at Crown Casino. As a Music Tech, Dyson has drum teched & stage managed for many major acts, festival & recording sessions. Dyson is a music product specialist & leads Australia’s largest music retailer, Store DJ Corporate Sales Division. He has travelled & trained globally in USA, UK, Switzerland & Japan.

Paula Peppin, an avid music lover who worshiped her vinyl collection growing up, worked initially as Dyson’s drum tech on live gigs & assistant sound engineer in the Retriever Sound Studio. She soon got on the decks & quickly established residencies & her own DJ style & then many repeat clientele. She is the passionate driving force behind Retriever Sound & runs the process from consultation, business administration & social media. Her passion & expansive music knowledge has seen her establish herself as powerhouse sports & corporate event DJ, as well as game day coordinator.
