Tim McMillan is a journalist and news presenter at Seven Perth. He's held a number of roles in television and radio at the Seven Network, Channel 9, ABC and 6PR.
Beyond his media roles, Tim is an accomplished master of ceremonies, regularly hosting corporate, government, and sporting events. He is also a media training consultant, serving clients across various industries.
Born in Perth, Tim completed a Bachelor of Science at UWA before deciding to pursue his interest in news. He completed a degree in Broadcasting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts then started his media career at ABC 720 Perth.
He continued his career in Europe for a year then returned to Australia to ABC Radio Melbourne. In 2007 he joined Nine News Melbourne.
Tim has covered the Black Saturday bushfires, Australia’s longest terrorism trial and the final inquest into the death of Azaria Chamberlain. During his time in Melbourne, he won two Quill Awards for Best Television Report and Cyclone Yasi.
